Taylor Barnes '15

Taylor Barnes is an alumna and proud advocate of Baldwin Wallace University. She attended Baldwin Wallace for its Arts Management program. “It was one of the only schools that was offering a program that combined business skills and a passion for the arts,” she says. Along with this, she felt at home in the close-knit campus environment. Taylor came from Pittsburgh to Baldwin Wallace, joining Alpha Phi and making priceless memories along the way while attaining her degree.

Upon graduating in 2015, Taylor moved from Pittsburgh to Cleveland. She serves as the Director of Resource Development for YWCA Greater Cleveland, where she leads the fundraising and marketing team. Her focus is on furthering relationships with individual donors and keeping her community informed and engaged with the organization.

With a bright future ahead of her, Taylor credits Baldwin Wallace in preparing her for life after college. During those four years she made invaluable relationships in her field and otherwise. “I have sorority sisters that are still my best friends after meeting almost 10 years ago,” says Taylor. “I have remained connected to the Arts Management community, which provided me with so much real world experience while in school. And now, I have a new network of women within Women for BW that I am excited to explore.”

Taylor brings her talent for engagement and enthusiasm for community to Women for BW, where she serves proudly on the membership committee. “The best part of joining Women for BW is feeling like I'm part of something that is making an impact,” she says. “Through my membership, I am helping to further a young woman's education, career, dream, etc.”

Taylor is an integral member of Women for BW, whose passion shines through in her every action since joining.

Thank you for being a part of the team, Taylor!
