Kathy Papp ‘96, ‘02

Why did Kathy Papp ‘96, ‘02 choose to study at Baldwin Wallace? Well, being from the Cleveland area, the reputation of BW preceded itself. It had everything she was looking for in a college – close to home, had the major she wanted with smaller class sizes, and a lot of opportunities for involvement on campus.

Kathy spent her time at BW, where she majored in Speech Communications, as an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha, holding leadership positions within the sorority and on the Panhellenic Council. Her favorite memories are from attending events like May Day (now April Reign), and the Sesquicentennial, with friends who she still remains close with to this day.

After graduating in 1996, Kathy has worked exclusively in IT across the banking industry. She then went back to Baldwin Wallace to pursue her MBA, which she received in 2002, and says that her “experiences at BW were so positive, when I decided to pursue an MBA, BW was my only choice.” Currently, she is a manager in Key Technology, Operations & Services at KeyBank.

In her free time, Kathy enjoys reading, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. One of the ways she enjoys giving back is as a member of Women for BW. Kathy believes in the mission of Baldwin Wallace and values the opportunity to give back in a way that truly helps the students currently pursuing their degrees. Learning about the students, their aspirations, and everything they have accomplished during their time at BW is inspiring, and knowing her involvement in Women for BW has helped them in their pursuits is incredibly meaningful to Kathy.

Thank you, Kathy!
