Message from the Chairs
	What a year it has been for the Women of BW organization. In October 2017 we introduced the concept of Women for BW and the idea of a collective Giving Circle. By restructuring the Baldwin Wallace Women’s Club (which had been in existence for over 96 years!), we enhanced, enlarged, and modernized this amazing women's group. We hosted our first steering committee meeting in November 2017 with a phenomenal and energized group of women, and in just over a year this group has grown and become a collaboration of outstanding women who share an interest in and passion for Baldwin Wallace University.
It has been an honor to co-chair this inaugural year of the organization. We had the opportunity to meet so many remarkable women and share in their leadership, enthusiasm, and passion while at the same time giving back to the undergraduate, graduate, and faculty/staff women of Baldwin Wallace. We are off to an amazing start and are excited for the future of Women for BW, and we are honored to introduce Alyson Cotter Campbell '08 as the 2019 Chair. Karen is excited to continue in a leadership role as Vice Chair, and we all look forward to seeing how this organization can grow and continue to enhance the lives of women, on and off campus, who call BW home - in 2019 and beyond. FEBRUARY '18: Before her public lecture, we gathered for an exclusive reception with Dr. Tererai Trent, an internationally recognized scholar, humanitarian, and author. Read more.	APRIL '18: The group awarded its first-ever Women for BW Legacy Award to Gwyn Dubel, class of 2019, on the Day of Excellence during the 2018 Ovation Festival. Read more.
JUNE '18: Women for BW invited all female alumni and friends for a summer reception at the rooftop patio of Skylight Financial in Ohio City. Read more.	NOVEMBER '18: The Women for BW Giving Circle members voted for and awarded nearly $20,000 in funds to support student experiential learning opportunities during the 2018-19 academic year. Read more.
