UPDATED 9:00-10:10 p.m. Haunted Stories of BW and Walking Tour |
|
BW is a very old campus with a long history and some well-kept haunted secrets that will be revealed through stories. Many of BW’s buildings are well over a century old, but there’s something in these buildings that can’t seem to ever leave. And we’re not talking about fifth- or sixth-year students. Dan Karp, AVP University Relations, will be your storyteller as we gather as a group, followed by a guided tour of haunted sites. A 50-minute story time followed by a brief walking tour for those who are able. Dan will share stories from rarely seen areas of campus, history, and hair-raising stories that make BW one of the most haunted colleges in the U.S.
Location Change: Thanks to the overwhelming interest and the desire to make the event more accessible, we have changed the format slightly to start with a story time, followed by a tour of key sights for those who are able to walk and climb stairs. We will gather the spirits at Fynette Kulas Music Hall, where we’ll share stories, and then the brave will head out to a few of the most haunted sites, expect to walk about a mile around campus, in and out of buildings, and up and down some stairs (elevators available).
The Tour will begin with a Haunted BW Story Time at Fynette Kulas Music Hall (49 Seminary Street, Berea) for people who need accommodations.
