BW Announces 2023 Athletics Hall of Fame Class

Congratulations to our eight BW alumni who were inducted into BW's Athletics Hall of Fame during a special ceremony held on Saturday, September 9. They include Dave Miller '85, Tabitha Murray '14, Julie Pinter '13, Amanda Schroeder Crego '11, Jared Selover '07, Mitch Supan '13, Brendan Toughey '13 and Carlin Vandendriessche '12.
Nominate a Yellow Jacket for Life for the Alumni Merit Award

Know an outstanding Baldwin Wallace alumnus or alumna who is a leader in their profession and community? Nominate them for the BW Alumni Merit Award! The Alumni Merit Awards honor exceptional and honorary alumni for their achievements, leadership and contributions to their profession or field of study, community, and alma mater.
Make a Difference in the Lives of BW Students on #GivingTuesday

Save the Date for the 2023 global day-of-giving as we call on the entire YJ4L community to join us in support of our students on November 28 for #GivingTuesday. Visit www.bw.edu/GivingTuesday on or before November 28 to make your gift and help transform the lives of our students.
Gifts to the Fund for BW provide immediate resources to meet the greatest priorities and emerging needs of our students. From scholarships and financial aid, to academic and co-curricular opportunities, the Fund for BW enhances the foundation of the YJ4L experience and ensures all deserving students have access to a BW education.

Conservatory Holiday Concert

Sponsored by the Friends of the Conservatory, the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory Holiday Concert from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, December 2 is an annual tradition featuring an array of Conservatory ensembles performing festive selections.
The Conservatory Holiday Concert's move to Saturday afternoon means that patrons will be able to join in with the City of Berea's Jack Frost Festival immediately following the performance. Watch the livestream!

Save the Date: We're Buzzing to Florida!

Gather with other BW alumni and friends in celebration of the BW spirit in Florida this February! Join us for alumni receptions in Naples and West Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday, February 15 and Saturday, February 17 hosted by BW President Bob Helmer, Trustee Vincent Petrella '82 and Jody and Mary Lomeo.
Economic Insights Summit
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 24 at the Center for Innovation & Growth for our annual Economic Insights Summit featuring a panel of experts who will discuss the economic outlook from global, national and regional perspectives. This event is co-sponsored by the Baldwin Wallace Carmel Boyer School of Business and the BW MBA Association.
Join us on campus to hear the outlook for the economy in 2024. This in-person event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Registration coming soon!
Save the Date: Alumni Reunion Weekend

Come back to BW during Alumni Reunion Weekend on Friday and Saturday May 17 and 18, 2024 to celebrate the reunion classes of 1974, 1989, 1999 and 2014. All BW classes and guests are welcome for this fun-filled weekend.
Want to be part of the planning process and connect with other alumni from your class? We are searching for Reunion Ambassadors from the classes of 1974, 1989, 1999 and 2014 to personally connect with classmates and have input on planning decisions. Join us for a Young Alumni Hybrid Webinar at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 25 at Baldwin Wallace's Career Services Lab for a presentation and Q&A session. Enjoy some light hors d'oeuvres while you network with your fellow Yellow Jackets.

Career Closet Donations Needed

Looking to donate your gently worn professional clothing? The BW Career Center is in need of donations for their Career Closet! This provides students with professional clothing, free of cost, for internships and interviews. The Career Center is in particular need of shoes and neckties with professional designs and new dress socks for men and women. Email career@bw.edu to learn more.
Donations can be dropped off during office hours (holidays will impact these hours, please call (440) 826-2101 or email career@bw.edu in advance). Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Executive & Professional Development Programs

Baldwin Wallace University Executive & Professional Development offers one-day overview foundational courses, a complete certificate series or individual courses toward the certificate series in Critical Thinking, Leadership and Project Management. Registration for Spring 2024 opening soon!
Professional development programs combine hands-on technical with real-world experience to send our partners off with applicable skills they can put to use in their organization the very next day. From courses in Data Analytics and ChatGPT to Communication Through Storytelling, there is a wide range of courses to meet any need. All courses are held on the Baldwin Wallace campus. Group rates, BW alumni, and military discounts are available.
