This summer has been a time for relaxing and reconnecting with BW alumni and friends. We have gathered in the Yellow Jackets for Life spirit at three golf outings, at Cedar Point, the Catawba Island Club near Lakeside, Ohio, and at a baseball game at Cleveland's Progressive Field. The fun doesn't end with summer...we have plenty of opportunities this fall to return to campus and enjoy time with your BW family. Tickets are now on sale for both Community and Family Day and Homecoming. See details below, and check the calendar for more events and updates.
Community and Family Day (Saturday, September 13): This may be the day of BW's first home game, but this event includes much more than football. Join us for a picnic on the North Quad, enjoy lots of family-friendly activities and entertainment, tour the Burrell Observatory, and learn what's happening on campus today. Then, head to Finnie Stadium to cheer on the Yellow Jackets as they bombard the Bluffton Beavers. More information here.
Homecoming (Saturday, October 4): Make 2014 your year to return to campus at Homecoming! Gather at morning affinity reunions organized by interests, majors, and organizations; then enjoy the Homecoming parade, picnic, and game (Yellow Jackets vs. Muskingum Muskies). More information here. Details about reunions will be updated frequently in the coming weeks as activities are confimed, so check back often.
Founders Day (Monday, October 20): Join us as we honor the contributions of Prof. Louise Kiefer '42 and Dr. Wray Stickford, who both made long-term, positive impacts on the life of Baldwin Wallace. Founders Day includes a luncheon and brief ceremony at Memorial Wall on North Campus. More information here.
