MBA Association

Growing your connections while growing your knowledge

The value of the BW MBA is not only in the credential of the degree or the knowledge obtained in class, but also in the combined value of our collective circles of influence and the body of our experiences. Stay connected and build your network by participating in programs such as the Career Catalyst Series featuring topical presentations by BW faculty, alumni and other business leaders; Economic Insights annual panel event offering multiple perspectives; a popular regular seminar by Param Srikantia (originally of the "Why Life Sucks" series), and other events for BW alumni.

In 2019 the MBAA celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a special gala event, which included an announcement about creating the MBA Association Endowmen Fund to preserve resources for the future. The MBAA's Master's Masters Golf Outing was planned for June 2020, but due to precautions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been canceled. Look for information about a new 2021 outing in the coming months.

MBA alumni are also active volunteers. In addition to alumni serving on the Executive Council and event subcommittees of the MBA Association, alumni have assisted the School of Business with mentoring One Year MBA students who have less career experience than the typical MBA student. Alumni also help the School of Business with recruitment by participating in the MBA Alumni Referral Scholarship, funded by the BW School of Business to celebrate the legacy of its graduates.

Read the latest MBA Association newsletter here for news, upcoming events, and feature stories about people and topics central to the MBAA mission.  All current MBA students and MBA alumni with a valid email address receive the newsletter, which is published 4-5 times per calendar year.  Don't receive the newsletter?  Email Lisa Judge in the Office of Alumni Engagement at

Upcoming Events

Due to BW's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all BW events scheduled on and off campus have been canceled or postponed through May 31, 2020, including the Master's Masters Golf Outing which was originally scheduled for June 8.

Please look for updates regarding future events, as well as possible virtual events, in the coming weeks and months.
