We’re rewinding the clock to the 1970s when disco ruled the airways,
and everyone was “gettin’ down.”

BW’s Bold & Gold Homecoming Festival is on Saturday, October 2
and we invite everyone for a FREE post-game celebration concert with
DISCO INFERNO from 4:30-7 p.m.  Bring a blanket or lawn chair or hang out
on the grass of North Quad.

Get ready to dance, sing and release your inner “Dancing Queen” as band members Sonny D. Lite, Joey "Hollywood" D. Lite, Bjorn Z. Free, and
Rocky Bucacci capture the spirit of and music of that unforgettable decade.

Other great events to attend on October 2 at Homecoming include:

9 – 11 a.m.   Campus tours, reunions, open houses, and performances.
10 a.m.   Music Theatre Disney Showcase: Join us at the steps of Boesel Musical Arts Center as our renowned music theatre students perform the best of Disney.
11 a.m.   Homecoming Parade: BW spirit comes alive. The parade will start from the parking lot behind Wallace House and end at the stadium parking lot.
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.   BOLD & GOLD Festival: North Quad is decked out with street fair food, activity tents, games, and entertainment for all ages. Purchase food tickets for $10 each starting now. Volunteer and receive a voucher for the Dining Services food tent.

1:00 p.m.   Rally: President Helmer, 2021 Grand Marshals Irene and Ted Theodore, and Jim Hilvert take the stage to pump up the crowd for the big game.
1:30 p.m.   BW vs. Capital University Football: George Finnie Stadium will ignite with Yellow Jacket grit and glory. Tickets available at bwyellowjackets.com/tickets or stream it live.

Volunteers Needed
We are in need of volunteers at various locations during the festival. There are shifts available throughout the day, so you can volunteer and still have time to enjoy the festivities. Your assistance will enhance the day for our students, alumni, and BW families. All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and a voucher for the Dining Services food tent.

We can’t wait to see us ALL TOGETHER on campus!
