Join the School of HPESS for a screening of Rebecca Carpenter's Requiem for a Running Back, immediately followed by a guest panel Q&A.

The film chronicles Carpenter's journey as she uncovers the truth about Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). Her father, Lewis Carpenter, was a running back for Vince Lombardi's NFL Champion Green Bay Packers, and her film features insights from his former teammates, adversaries, scientists, historians, and other families affected by CTE.

Doors open and breakfast will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m.

The film will begin at 9:30 a.m. with Q&A immediately following its conclusion.

The event will conclude by 11:30 a.m. so guests may enjoy Community & Family Day activities on the North Quad (rain location: Lou Higgins Rec Center) and the football game vs. John Carroll at 2:00 p.m.
