From Brahms to "The Little Mermaid," BW is bringing the best of classical and Disney music to campus on Oct. 2 for our exciting Bold & Gold Homecoming Festival.
Join us Friday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. as the BW Symphony Orchestra Concert welcomes guests to Kulas Musical Arts Building for a free evening of euphonious music that features BW Conservatory of Music students and faculty. The orchestra will be conducted by David E. Becker, BW interim director.
On Saturday, get ready to be dazzled by BW's music theatre students, who will perform the best of Disney at 10 a.m. on the steps of Boesel Musical Arts Center.
Other don’t-miss Homecoming events on Saturday include a parade, open houses, reunions, rally, football, and the BOLD & GOLD Festival featuring street fair food, activity tents, games, and entertainment for all ages. Purchase food tickets for $10 each starting now.
After you’ve enjoyed earlier activities and festivities, join BW Alumni and Friends for an exclusive access tailgate party on Saturday at noon, hosted by Patrick Dunlavy ’71, VP for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. Enjoy festive fare, specialty cocktails, games, giveaways and more. Reception Tent located at the northwest entrance of George Finnie Stadium.
