Celebrating the legacy of the Brown & Gold

The Brown & Gold Club was on hand January 19 to help celebrate the traditions of BW Athletics. As Swimming & Diving took on John Carroll, BW celebrated the anniversary of the 1988-89 swimming & diving season, the first full season of the program's revival after its success in earlier decades. Coach Bob Fortune '62, who has been with the program for 30 years, received special recognition.

That same day, Wrestling recognized its program's 18 living Hall of Famers as the team swept Muskingum, Otterbein and Heidelberg. Kevin Atkins '00 (HOF '18), Tony Cipollone '92, '02 (HOF '04), Coach Rich Fleming (HOF '16), Larry Hoon '70 (HOF '83) and John Yezerski '73 (HOF '86) were honored prior to the third meet.
