The BW Music Theatre Showcase Endowment

Thank you for choosing to be a part of the BW Music Theatre Showcase Endowment!

Together we have watched in wonder the tremendous growth of the Music Theatre program at the Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music over the past decade.  With this evolution has come a steady rise in the level of talent attracted to the program, and this past season, nearly 1,000 students applied for the Music Theatre program; 600 of those students were invited to audition live on campus, all vying for one of the 18 coveted slots in this year's freshman class.  The success of the program in attracting top talent is a fine complement to the program's reputation among directors and casting agents in New York and the accomplishments of our graduates on the Broadway stage, in national touring companies, in television and film.

Vicky Bussert, Director of the BW Music Theatre program

In recognition of Vicky Bussert's leadership and with respect for the outstanding quality of this program in training, mentoring and empowering generations of BW Music Theatre students, an endowment fund has been established for the sole purpose of providing financial support for the NYC Showcase each year.  Showcase is the point of entry to the industry for our students, and it is the artistic product representing the culmination of four years of undergraduate study as a Music Theatre major.  Theatre rental alone for the NYC BW Showcase costs over $21,000 each year.

With your help and that of others who share your passion for the BW Music Theatre program, the Showcase Endowment Fund can assist our efforts to support students and provide a highly competitive solo showcase.

We welcome your participation.  Please complete the donation form below to contribute to the BW Music Theatre Showcase Endowment.  Our students are worthy of our very best efforts in supporting their artistic aspirations!
