Join BW in Las Vegas As We Take on the NHL Draft!
Exciting Opportunity to Join BW Sport Management Program and Students
Dear BW Alumni,
For the second consecutive year, BW Sport Management alumna and NHL Events Coordinator Alicia Dalessio ’19, ’21 MBA has invited BW students and alumni to help run the NHL Draft.
This year, the draft will take place on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th in The Sphere in Las Vegas.
In Nashville last year, the BW group was tasked with escorting players through their various media responsibilities after they were drafted. This included greeting the players as they walked off-stage, communicating with team media relations staffers, and taking the players to the various assigned locations on the media route. The responsibilities in Las Vegas are likely to be similar.
This year, alumni are invited to participate, and I wanted to be sure you knew! Participants will be responsible for their own travel and hotel accommodations; however, you will be paid for the hours you work. If flying to Las Vegas, it is advised that all participants arrive on Thursday, June 27th and depart on Sunday, June 30th.
