35th Reunion

Join fellow teammates of your undefeated and Coach Tressel's final team.  As guests of the University, please join in the celebration:

10:00 a.m. – Visit Packard Athletic Center (behind Kleist Center for Art and Drama).
The Packard Center visit will provide an opportunity to catch Coach Snell for a bit, plus tour many parts of the facility for those unfamiliar with it.  

10:30 a.m. – Gather in Tressel Lounge in the Higgins Recreation Center
In Tressel Lounge, we'll have some coffee available and time for everyone to mix and mingle.  If anyone is interested, a few teammates may head down to the Athletic Archives and hang out there for a bit.  

11:30 a.m. – Depart Tressel Lounge for the North Quad Cookout (weather permitting; indoor location is conveniently in Higgins!)
The cookout is substantial in terms of quantity and choices and will be held rain or shine.  Food is served from noon-1:30 p.m. and there is an engagement zone that features more than 50 student organizations.  Plus, the observatory will be open to view sunspots and the "Touch the Trucks" zone will be open, in case any of the guys show up with small children who like to climb on fire trucks, excavators, augers, police trucks, etc.  

12:00 p.m. – Food Services begins at the picnic.  You receive a complimentary ticket for yourself and a guest.  Additional tickets are $14 for adults, $7 for children.  Tickets can be ordered below, as well as by calling the Alumni Office at 440-826-2104.  

1:00 p.m. – Onstage program for Community & Family Day

1:25 p.m. – Marching band leads guests to stadium

1:45 p.m. – Pre-game activities begin

2:00 p.m. – Kickoff against John Carroll 

Between First and Second Quarter – All members of the 1980 Yellow Jacket Football Team in attendance at the game will be introduced at the south end zone (by the scoreboard)
